Perez Gets Shutout Sunday, June 10th, 2035 Tony Perez was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Anchorage Hammerheads on 5 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Anchorage manager Jayden Wilkins after the 5-0 loss to the Hillsdale Diamondbacks. Perez finished with 8 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Hillsdale manager Jonathan Claxton said Perez "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
