Phoenix, Philadelphia Agree to Swap Sunday, June 10th, 2035 The Bakers and Droogies confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Phoenix will get 28-year-old 2B Chris Nigg, while Philadelphia will receive 31-year-old C Ronny Mendoza and 20-year-old minor league C Tomas Maldonado. Mendoza is hitting .262 so far this season with 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 27 hits including no home runs, 13 walks and .350 OBP. Thus far this year Nigg is batting .273 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
