FBL News: First-Year Player Draft Saturday, June 5th, 2027 It's draft day! And Jacksonville, Memphis, Chicago, Austin and Columbus will have the first five selections. As GMs prepare their final notes on the 2027 rookie class, a cloud of uncertainty hangs over Fictional Baseball League. So many teams have their futures vested in today's proceedings. Some will go all out for the hot pick, while others will be content to take a mid-carder or dark horse. Only Father Time knows if things will work out. One way or the other, it's an unsettling thought for GM's whose jobs could hang in the balance. The top ten picks, as rated by BNN, are: 1. Troy Foster, 18 year-old CF out of high-school. 2. Jaylen Williams, 18 year-old 2B out of high-school. 3. Dusty Boltz, 21 year-old SS out of college. 4. Scott Gann, 19 year-old LHP out of high-school. 5.
