Chicago Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss
|
The Milwaukee Oilmen and Chicago Stags completed their game despite the rain.
Milwaukee used a superb performance from starting pitcher Landon Davis to down the Chicago Stags, 4-0. Even with the win, the Oilmen have a dismal 18-36 record.
In the bottom of the second inning, Ricky Lopez muscled up and hit a 2-run home run. It put Milwaukee ahead, 2-0. For the game, Lopez went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Jaap Snellrijder.
