Sea Dragons Get One-Run Win at Jacksonville
|
Starting pitcher Jamie Hindman pitched well enough to help the Ft. Worth Sea Dragons beat the Jacksonville Spikes by the score of 4-3. The Sea Dragons saw their win-loss record go to 22-18. At the same time, the Spikes fell to 21-18.
Parking one for Ft. Worth was Santiago Benarrivo. The first baseman had a 3-run home run in the top of the third for the Sea Dragons. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Benarrivo was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"Both teams played hard," said Ft. Worth manager Rodolfo Medina.
