| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, April 7th, 1875: Major Trade Includes Norman and Wann New York and St. Louis have closed a blockbuster deal involving star players. The Mutuals have swapped 27-year old shortstop Dan Norman to the Red Stockings for 32-year old reliever Tom Wann and 22-year old second baseman Bill Gerth.
