Friday, August 6th, 1875: Stanley's Hit Streak Soars to 32 Games
Mike Stanley has been ripping hits every day for quite some time and no team seems to be able to stop him. The Brooklyn catcher got 2 hits today against the Hartford Dark Blues and now has a 32-game hitting streak. The Atlantics won the game 5-4.
M. Stanley grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
