StatsLab doesn't currently have a tool for managing users at a detailed level. It is expected that all users will be created within OOTP and they can be managed from within the game.

StatsLab does allow you to assign StatsLab only commish access for cases in which the in game commish wishes to have another league member help manage StatsLab or administer things like the draft.

The admin page allows commissioners to login as other users so they can help resole profile issues if needed.

Removing/Replacing Users

When a GM is no longer part of the league, there are a few ways to handle it.

  • Rename the manager record in OOTP for the new user
  • Remove the GM from the team they manage in game, but leave the manager record in OOTP
  • Remove the manager record from OOTP completely

Rename the manager record in OOTP for the new user

In this case, the user record in StatsLab will be updated with the new name upon the next SQL load. The new GM account in StatsLab should have the password reset (from the admin page), and the profile settings cleared out. To clear out the profile settings, login to StatsLab as a commish, go to the admin page, then login as the user and make the changes yourself.

Historical managerial records will propagate to the new GM.

Remove the GM from the team they manage in game, but leave the manager record in OOTP

In this case, the user record in StatsLab will move from an active GM to a non-GM role. All the user settings will remain in the StatsLab database. Whether or not the user is able to log in to StatsLab to continue participating in league votes and the like will be determined by the admin page setting "Allow Non-GM's to Login".

If non-GM's are not allowed to login, these users may still receive email updates from StatsLab if they didn't turn that off first. You can easily go into their profile to remove any email settings and/or subscriptions by temporarily enabling access for non-GM's, logging in as that user through the admin page, and updating their profile manually.

Historical managerial records will be kept with the person who earned them.

Remove the manager record from OOTP completely

StatsLab doesn't have a process by which GM's removed from the game are removed from the StatsLab database. However, they are removed from the list of human managers. If you run into a case where a removed GM is receiving emails from StatsLab, there is some database cleanup that can be done to resolve it. Please contact fhomess on the OOTP forums for details.

Historical managerial records will be lost for this user.
