| Breaking News |  | Monday, September 17th, 2007: Australia's Go Out 7-8 Weeks The Boomerangs received bad news this morning. Tsu-wee Go will miss 7-8 weeks due to a damaged meniscus. In the Australia-Venezuela game he sustained the injury while colliding with a player at a base. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Go sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."
So far this season Go has hit .300 with 51 home runs, 146 RBIs and and scored 108 times. |  | Sunday, September 16th, 2007: Serrano Tops WH with .337 Average Australia's Ernesto Serrano completed the season in style by winning the Western Hemisphere batting crown. He claimed the coveted title by hitting a solid .337 for the year.
The gifted 25-year-old Boomerangs left fielder chalked up 202 hits during the season with 20 home runs, 95 RBIs and 101 runs scored. |  | Monday, September 10th, 2007: Big Bat Bags WH Best Player Award The Western Hemisphere has selected its Player of the Week and the honor went to Jorge Ríos, Australia's fine first baseman.
