 | Friday, July 6th, 2007: Injury Takes Toll, Specht Out 5 Weeks A blow for Tim Specht today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5 weeks with a damaged meniscus. Specht suffered the injury being hit by a pitch. Although officials from the Germany Die Nationalmannschaft are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Specht's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Currently Specht has 7 home runs and a .243 batting average. |
